Wolf Parade + Rubdown + Bonobo

I know I’ve been dragging my heels with new blog posts. Been busy. Been stressed. Been unmotivated. Here are some songs that have been pushing me through regardless.

Thanks to following Todd Richards on twitter, I got Sunset Rubdown’s recently released album Dragonslayer. It has been a joy to listen to. Also thanks to Todd and his opinion that although he really likes Sunset Rubdown, the side project isn’t as good as the original. That obviously triggered me to find out who the original is. I’m not quite sure why it took me so long to come across Wolf Parade, but it did. I’ve heard, and liked, many of their songs for a long time, but never investigated who this great band was. I’m just happy to have finally added them to my library.

Another artist recently added to my library is Bonobo. I heard one of his songs on Rescue Me and it instantly got added to my Current Listens playlist.
